Laurel Lee (Cook) Limb

Laurel Limb passed away, surrounded by family at McKay-Dee Hospital on November 19, 2022 after a lengthy illness.

Laurel was born on May 3, 1948, in Elwood City, PA. Laurel lived a number of years in Arizona where she raised her family. Laurel moved to Evanston in 1990 and met Charles Limb. The two married in 1996 bringing together their 9 children. They moved to Rock Springs where they lived for 15 years before returning to Evanston in 2014.

 Laurel loved her family and always strived to be someone everyone could count on. Always ready with a joke, her quick wit brought joy to others, especially when others were having difficulty. Laurel was always someone to be counted on when times were tough. Laurel was very proud of the family she and Charlie created and the successes of all her children and grandchildren.

Laurel was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Jean Cook. She is survived by her siblings Donna Clark and Jay Cook. She is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Charles Limb and her children; Kristen Preisch of Parker, CO; Maren (Mark) Elliott of Grand Junction, CO; Audrey (Michael) Sarbo of Queen Creek, AZ; Angie Giroux of Tolleson, AZ; Maggie Duncan of Chandler, AZ; and Joseph (Misty) Polanco of Mesa, AZ. She loved her bonus children beyond measure; Michael (Laura) Limb of Klamath Falls, OR; Sandy (Rich) DuBois of St. George, UT; and Garrett (Joann) Limb of Evanston, WY. She was blessed to be a grandmother to 26 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She left an incredible legacy.

Services will be held at Crandall Funeral Home on Saturday, December 3, 2022, at 11:30 followed by an open house reception at the Depot from 1-4 PM. A private burial will be held on Monday, December 5, 2022. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Laurel's memory to the Mckay-Dee Hospital Annie Taylor Dee Guest House.
