Larry Ellingford

Larry George Ellingford, 80, died Thursday, August 8, 2019 in Los Angeles, California. He was born February 22, 1939 in Mountain View, Wyoming to Reno Edward “Pete” and Esther Kidman Ellingford. He grew up on the family ranch outside of Lyman, Wyoming.

Graveside services and interment will be in the Lyman City Cemetery in Lyman, Wyoming on August 31 at 12:00 noon under the direction of Crandall Funeral Home.

Larry is survived by his wife Cathy of Eagle Rock, CA, his children Dave (Cyndy), Brian (Jennifer), Lori, and Steven; his grandchildren Kelly, Calley, Camie, Diana, Elsie, Stuart, Grant, and Lauryn; two great grandchildren Blake and Ashlyn, and his sister Audrey Anders.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Laura, and brothers Rex and Ted.

After working for 38 years, Larry retired from Arrowhead Bottled Water Company in January 2007. His interest in real estate and managing his apartment building kept him busy after retirement.

As a youth Larry was active in the Boy Scouts of America and attended the Boy Scout National Jamboree in 1953 at Irvine Ranch, California.  As an adult he spent many years as a Boy Scout leader.

Larry was a veteran of the United States Army.
