He is preceded in death by his parents Mack Lott and Traccia Lott Clayson and a brother Lloyd Rob Lott.

Craig was born in American Fork Utah on December 22nd, 1958 to Mack Lott and Traccia Overy Lott. As a child, the family moved to Evanston where he spent the majority of his life. In August of 1977, he married Tamra Toone (later divorced) who had two sons that he raised like his own. In August of 1980, he welcomed home his beautiful daughter, Bobbie. In June 2011, he married Joy Minear (later divorced).

Craig was a successful businessman and entrepreneur. He is best known for Lotty’s, Old West Used Cars, and KC’S RV. He was an active member of the community and associated with the Elks Club, Evanston Chamber of Commerce, Evanston Boat Club, and the Evanston Rotary Club. Throughout his life, Craig enjoyed spending time with his family, and friends, camping, golfing, traveling, hunting, cooking, competing in lawn mower races, and riding his Harley motorcycle. One of his greatest joys in life was to help people down on their luck whether it was giving them a job, a hot meal, or helping them reach their destination. For many years he fed the less fortunate families in our community on Thanksgiving and he treated everyone like they were family. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.

A funeral service is scheduled for him at Crandall’s Funeral Home in Evanston on May 6th, 2023. We will reminisce and socialize from 1-2 pm followed by the funeral service at 2 pm.

In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in person at Trona Valley Credit Union or by Venmo to the K Craig Lott memorial fund.
