Gloria Grigg

November 28, 1935 — November 7, 2021

Gloria Delores Fuhriman Grigg, returned to heaven on Sunday, November 7, 2021. Gloria bravely battled a 3-year illness.

Gloria was born on November 28, 1935 to, Horace and Jessie Fuhriman. Gloria was the 2nd child of 8 children. She enjoyed a happy childhood.

Gloria met the love of her life, Gordon Grigg, on a blind date. They married on December 29, 1954, in the Idaho Falls Temple. They raised 7 children who they dearly loved.

Debbie (Milton) Fewell of Ogden, Utah Thomas (Larina) Grigg of Aurora, Colorado, Laurie (Alma) Harmon of Mountain View, Wyoming, Bonnie (Lee) Hamblin, of Meridian, Idaho, Dan (Andrea) Grigg of Burns, Oregon, Gordon (Glory) Grigg of Rancho Cucamonga, California, Stephen (Krisanne) Grigg of American Falls, Idaho.

Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, Horace and Jessie Fuhriman, brother, Eugene,  sister, Donna, granddaughter, Amy Harmon, son-in-law, David Batchelor, grandson, Jason Harmon, and her beloved husband, Gordon Grigg.

She is survived by her 7 children, their spouses, 44 grandchildren and 79 great-grandchildren. Her family is her greatest accomplishment.

Gloria taught Pre-School in Green River for many years. She was very loving and caring of others, never missing a birthday in her family. She will be greatly missed.

Gloria served in the Ogden Temple for five years with her husband. They served a full-time mission together in Nauvoo, Illinois, which was a highlight for her. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Gloria made sure her family knew their importance to her. It was her greatest wish that each member of her family was happy, and knew that she loved them.

The viewing and funeral services will be held at the Bridger Valley Stake Center of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints located at Highway 414, Lyman Wyoming. The viewing will be held Sunday, November 14, 2021, from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm and Monday, November 15, 2021, from 9:00 am-9:45 am. Funeral Service will begin at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at the Fort Bridger Cemetery.
