Diane R (Rees) Weber

On Friday November 11, 2022, Diane Rees Weber, a beloved mother, sister, wife, friend, grandmother and great grandmother passed away at the age of seventy-seven.

Born to Dale Porter Rees and Waiora Marr Tingey Rees on September 27, 1945. She was a lifelong resident of Lyman, Wyoming.

Diane was an active member in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She held various callings in the church including many in primary that she thoroughly enjoyed. She was introduced to the love of her life by her best friend Dorothy Walk, a lifelong friend of 71 years.

Diane and Franz G. Weber married on June 18, 1965 in the Manti, Utah temple. They had three wonderful children Kathy Janae (Jim) Hughes, Jerry Weber and Tifani Ann (Tige) Jorgensen. She had twelve grandchildren and five great grandchildren with one on the way.

Diane enjoyed chariot racing with her husband Franz. She spent a great deal of time watching her grandchildren’s activities, listening to Elvis, reading, and at her Girl’s Night Out with her best friends Dorothy and Kathy.

Diane is survived by her brothers Jerry (Louise) Rees and Dee (Carol) Rees; daughters Kathy and Tifani and her grandchildren. Diane was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Sterling (Maevonne) Rees; her husband Franz, and her son Jerry Weber.

Services will be held in Lyman, Wyoming at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Ward Building on November 18, 2022. Viewing is at 11:00 AM followed by funeral services at 1:00 PM.

The graveside service will follow at Lyman Cemetery.
