Dian J McNeil passed away surrounded by her family on November 1, 2020 of natural causes at her home in Lyman, Wyoming.

She was born July 20, 1944 in Murray, Utah to Ellis and Nellie Thomas. She married the love of her life, Storm McNeil on July 28, 1961.

She was happiest when her family was surrounding her, playing games and joking around. She was always the first to make sure everyone had eaten and was well known to send her family on their way with bowls of extra food. She loved reading romance novels and crocheting, as well as watching football.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ellis and Nellie Thomas, and her brothers Dennis Thomas and Steve Thomas.

She is survived by her husband, Storm M McNeil, their four children: Annette McKee and her husband Jim of Pocatello, Idaho, Keith McNeil of Milburne, Wyoming, Tina Hurdsman and her husband Vaughn of Mountain View, Wyoming, Doug McNeil and his wife Clover of Chugiak, Alaska; her brothers Calvin Thomas and John Thomas and his wife Kellie; her sisters Nancy Thomas and Margie and her husband Shawn Elder; sisters-in-law Kay Thomas and Glenda Thomas; eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

At her request, her family will be holding a small graveside service in her honor.
