Dennie Ray Norton, 65, of Lyman Wyoming, peacefully passed away on June 3rd, 2021, surrounded by loved ones, after a difficult battle with Parkinson’s.

Dennie was born on June 9th, 1955, to Gaye and Jim Norton in Price Utah. After graduating from Lyman High School in 1973, he went on to work at General Chemical as a boiler house operator.

In 1982, he met Cindy Fraughton, and they wed September 3rd, 1982, in the Provo Utah temple, going on to have four children, Cory, Lacie, Trevor and Shaleen.

After retiring in 2010 after 37 years at General Chemical, Dennie spent his time cheering for his BYU cougars, the Utah Jazz and loving on his grandbabies.

Dennie was predeceased by his father, James Leroy Norton. He is survived by his mother, Gaye Norton his wife, Cindy Norton his 4 children Cory (Hannah) Norton, Lacie (Collin) Campbell, Trevor (Melissa) Norton and Shaleen (Landen) Bradshaw and his 10 grandchildren. Services will be held at the Lyman LDS chapel on June 9th, 2021, at 11AM.  A viewing will be held June 8th from  6-7 pm and June 9th 10-11am at the Lyman LDS chapel.
