Deanne Knight

July 28, 1938 — November 10, 2020

Deanne Prescott Knight passed away peacefully in her home with loved ones nearby on November 10, 2020. She was an amazing mother, great and loving wife, grandmother and friend. She cared for all those around her. Deanne was the oldest of 8 children in her family and looked after her siblings. She was married to her sweetheart Farrell Knight for 63 years. Deanne loved her parents and took them both into her home and cared for them in their later years.

Deanne had many talents. She was an amazing seamstress, she loved making quilts with her best friend, Kelly Blazzard, and took great pride in her Christmas Village and Nativity Scene.  She also enjoyed gardening, working in her yard, crocheting and was a very talented artist.

She lived a life of service which included several years in the Primary Presidency, and working as an ordinance worker in the Salt Lake Temple. She also volunteered for the March of Dimes for many years. She had a very tender heart and was willing to help anyone in need.

Deanne is preceded in death by her parents, Wayne and Bernice Prescott, sister Ruth, and brother Tommy.

She is survived by her husband Farrell and their 11 children; Raymond Knight, Glen (Leslie) Knight, Clay (Dawn) Knight, Glade (Kellee) Knight, Val Knight, Annette (Ron) Christensen, Tonya (Eric) Keller, Kyle (Karly) Knight, Kelly (Matt) Atkinson, Kip (Tammy) Knight, Penny (Spencer) Butler, 26 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.  Siblings Glenda Thomas, Jim Prescott, Kay Thomas, Susan Bertele, Ted Prescott,

Due to COVID 19, there will be no public viewing and the family will hold a private graveside service.
