David “Dave” E. Green unexpectedly passed away on September 29, 2020 in Robertson, WY at the age of 75.

Dave was born on August 9, 1945 to George Thomas Green and Wanda Mitchell Buys of Layton, UT. Dave graduated from Davis High School in 1963 and went on to serve in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War.

He followed his career to Tooele, UT where he worked at the Tooele Army Depot and raised his family.

After an early retirement, he relocated to Robertson, WY where he could be surrounded by his passion of nature and wildlife.

Dave was an avid outdoorsman, spending many years hunting and fishing; later on, trading his gun for a camera to capture and show off many photos of the “big buck” and other wildlife in the meadows.

He also enjoyed woodworking, making rock art, puttering in the yard, and gambling; He was always up for a good game of cards.

He is survived by his wife, Cathryn; children: Tim Green, Heidi (Matt) Westover, Shelly (Ryan) Hall, Kye (Lori) Jensen, and Holly Pfeifer; 11 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren; brother, Alan Green, and sisters, Norma Lee Cox and Susie Flinders.

He is also survived by his dogs, who held a special place in his heart.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Terry Green.

A celebration of life will be held in Robertson, WY for close friends and relatives.

Dave will always be remembered as a loving and caring man and will forever be in our hearts.
