Obituary

Barbara Lee Stammers, 94, of Evanston, Wyoming, passed away April 17, 2023.  Barbara was born March 29, 1929, in Wilmar, California to Wilbur L. Allen and Marguerite A. Lloyd.  After graduating High School, Barbara married Clarence R. Stammers on November 8, 1947.  She worked at Van DeKamp Bakery and Truman Girl Agency in California before moving to St. Ignatius, Montana in 1973.  In 1989 she moved to McAllister, Montana and then to Evanston in 1993 where she worked in the Jubilee Bakery. 

She is survived by her daughters, Linda Stammers and Cindy Krantz both of Evanston; son, James (Martha) Stammers of Charlo, Montana; grandsons, Kyle Krantz of Evanston, Craig (Brittney) Krantz of Lovell, Wyoming, Zach (Bobbie) Stammers of Charlo, Montana and Cody Stammers of Denver, Colorado; great-granddaughter, BrayLynn Krantz of Lovell; and great-grandsons, Craig Robert Dean (CJ) Krantz of Lovell, Ellis James Stammers and Camden Ray Stammers both of Charlo, Montana.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Robert Stammers; mother and stepfather, Margurita and Al Esty; father, Wilbur Allen; brother, Richard “Dick” Allen; sister-in-laws, Gwen Sibley and Monica Stammers; and brother-in-laws, Fred Sibley and Ray Stammers.  At Barbara’s request, no services will be held.
