In Loving Memory of Arlene Argyle Clark, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend, Arlene Clark (83) passed away in Salt Lake City, Utah surrounded by her family at the University of Utah Hospital on August 6, 2021. Arlene was born on September 25, 1937 in Salt Lake City, Utah to David L. and Nellie Stroud Argyle. She was raised in the Salt Lake City and Bountiful, Utah area, and is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She met the love of her life on a blind date and they were married in the Salt Lake City Temple on May 11, 1956. Together they had 4 beautiful daughters, 7 grand children and 11 great-grandchildren. Arlene loved her family the most. She was happiest in the times spent with them while traveling, hunting, camping, bike riding, playing games, or just simply being together. She enjoyed many hobbies including gardening and reading which were some of her favorites. Her entire family loved her for her wholesome cooking and deliciously sweet baked treats.
Arlene worked in the billing office at Evanston Memorial Hospital and retired from Questar as a clerk. She spent the rest of her years with what was most important to her, her family.
Arlene is preceded in death by her daughter, Marlene George, and son-in-law, Robert George. Her sister, Jan Weeks, and her parents, David and Nell Argyle.
Arlene is survived by her husband of 65 years, Martin R. Clark; three daughters, Lynnae (Brian) Perkins, Donna L. Fuller and Brenda (Darrel) Hooten; one brother, Dave (Janice) Argyle. As well as 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Funeral Services are held 11:00 AM Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at Crandall Funeral Home in Evanston with a viewing starting at 10:00 AM. A visitation is 6:00-8:00 PM Tuesday, August 10th, 2021 at the funeral home. Burial is in Evanston City Cemetery.
