Todd Smith

We have lost our son, your brother, your friend and loving member of our family. Please join us in celebrating the life of Todd Smith.

Todd was born on Aug. 8, 1975, in Casper. Todd joined our Heavenly Father Aug. 27, 2011, as a result of a boating accident. Todd spent his earlier years in Riverton, then moved to Evanston in December 1990. He graduated from Evanston High School in 1994.

Todd joined the oilfield early, and remained there until his passing. He had been a specialist with Schlumberger for 15 years, and also was owner of a private business, which he began in Casper, and was just starting up in Evanston. He moved with his children from Casper back to Evanston this past October 2010.

Todd married Jill Froman in 1995. Their union was dissolved. Todd later married Lacie Hicks and later divorced. Todd’s partner in life at the time of his passing was Gail Willard, along with her daughter, Alyssa. Todd’s first loves were his children, Connor Smith, 15, who a sophomore at Evanston High School, and Kaitlyn Smith, 4.

Todd was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clyde and Lillian (Meg) Smith; and great-grandparents Oscar and Lorraine Johnson and Floyd and Marie Tennant.

Surviving in loving memory of Todd are his parents, Debbie (Joe) Terech and Mark (Ella) Smith; brothers Randy Smith and Aaron Smith; sister Katie Smith; partner in life Gail Willard and daughter, Alyssa; son Connor Smith; daughter Kaitlyn Smith; Jill Froman Thomason; grandparents Duane and Mary Johnson, of Riverton; aunt Shelly (Jim) Rock; uncle Brad (Amy) Johnson; uncle Jamie Johnson; uncle Randy (Karen) Smith; aunt Julie (Chris) Moore; uncle Ross Smith; and several cousins, nieces and nephews. And, of course, Todd’s dear friends.
