Tina Campbell has been battling cancer since 2016. She passed away peacefully at home on September 3, 2022, shortly after her 52nd birthday.
Tina was surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and closest friends during the last week of her life.
She was born in Dallas Texas and moved to Evanston Wyoming in 2011.
Tina was known best for her love for, God, her family, and her friends. Everyone was invited with a warm welcome into her cheery home decorated with sunflowers. If you stopped by you were greeted with a big southern hug. Tina was very artistic and loved to make beautiful crafts that she enjoyed giving to her family and friends. She loved to host birthday parties and holidays. She especially loved all things Christmas. In addition to decorating, she also enjoyed music of all kinds and dancing. Tina also had a love for shopping, especially for clothes and purses.
Tina also had a love for cooking she was known for her famous green bean casserole, Frito Pie, and her fruit salad!
Tina is survived by her 4 daughters: Tyler, Jessica, Melanie, Priscilla, and her son Emmanuel. She adored and loved to brag about her 4 grandchildren, Connor, Hayden, Ivan, and Isaiah.
Tina’s favorite poem: “You promised me Lord that if I followed you, you would walk with me always. But I have noticed that during the most trying periods of my life there has only been one set of footprints in the sand. Why, when I needed you most, have you not been there for me?” The Lord replied, “The years when you have seen only one set of footprints, my child, is when I carried you.”
Above all her faith in Jesus, her Savior was inspiring to everyone who met her.
A celebration of life service is planned at 10:30 on Saturday, September 24, 2022, at the Alliance Church in Evanston, WY. Please come if you knew Tina and celebrate her life with us!
