Robert Dale Young, age 85, died on September 7, 2011 in Evanston, WY.
Robert was born to Harold A. and Verda Jensen Young in Mt. Pleasant, Utah on April 13, 1926.
He married Doris Nelson on May 6, 1949.
A truck driver by trade, Robert also served in the United States Air Force during WWII.
He was a member of The Church of The Latter Day Saints. Also he was a member of the Disabled Americans Veterans. Activities he enjoyed were reading, singing, and target shooting with guns.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and a son, Randall Young.
He is survived by sons Wade (Toni) Young of Evanston, Curtis Young, also of Evanston, and Tim (Sara) Young of Grantsville Utah, daughters Kendall (David) Nielsen of Sandy, Utah and Joni Cannon of St. George, Utah. He is also survived by his brother Kenneth (Miriam) Young of Washington, and a sister Janice Olt of Salt Lake City, Utah. Additionally Robert is survived by 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
