Reed C. Toomer, 71, of Lyman, Wyoming passed away on February 24, 2022.

Reed was born on August 9, 1950 to James D. Toomer and Ruby (Bailey) Toomer in Montpelier, ID. After Reed graduated from Lyman High school in 1968, he went to vocational school to be an electrician in Denver Colorado. Afterwards he was drafted into the Army in 1970 and discharged in 1972.

In the year 1972, Reed married Patsy St. Jeor of Lyman Wyoming. On August 5, 1972 they went on to have two boys, Wade and Rory Toomer. Reed and Patsy built their family home in Lyman, Wyoming. Reed was very proud of the log home he built.

In the next chapter of Reeds life he met Susan Thomas Fullingim and married her November 26, 1997 and gained two more children, Will and Nesa Fullingim. Reed and Sue had twenty-five adventurous years together. Reed and Sue shared seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. In 2012 Reed took an early retirement but did not stay retired long. Reed found a part time job working for Broadbent Incorporation.

Reed lived life to the fullest and he loved the outdoors. Whether he was driving around, in the desert shooting guns, working on cars, or hunting, Reed loved to work with his hands. Reed was a very talented man of all traits.

Reed was preceded in death by James D Toomer (Father), Ruby Bailey Toomer (Mother), and Timothy Toomer (Brother). He is survived by his wife Susan Toomer of Lyman, Wyoming; sons Wade Toomer and Jen Fullmer of Stansbury UT; Rory and Carla Toomer of Lyman Wyoming; Will Fullingim of Indiana; Daughter Nesa Fullingim of Portland OR; and brother James and Barbara Toomer of Lyman, Wyoming.

At a later date a celebration of life will be held.
