Patsy Lester

September 8, 1927 — March 7, 2012

Patsy Myrnalice Smith Lester, passed away at Rocky Mountain Care in Evanston on March 7, 2012.

She was born on September 8, 1927 to James Smith and Susan Evelyn Smith in Evanston, Wy.  After completing  high school, she married Elton Allen “Bob”  Lester on September 29, 1944 in Evanston, Wy.

Patsy loved her family and was an excellent homemaker,  she loved ranching, fishing , cooking, candy making and entertaining family. Patsy wrote a book, because she loved to read, her book was entitled “The Saga of the Yeller Mare”.  She loved all animals especially  horses, cats, and her lambs that she raised.  Patsy also loved her country western music.

Patsy is survived by her husband Elton Allen “Bob”, five daugthters, Sharon (Paul) Danks of Green River, Wy. Patricia (Larry) Garetto of Lyman, Wy. Judy (Ray) Balser of Mountain View, Wy. Alice (Von) Chamberlain of Lyman, Wy. Jackie (Roger) Weltzel of Kemmerer, Wy. Two Sons, Robert (Ginger) Lester of Lyman, Wy. B. LaVelle (Billie) Lester of Ft. Bridger, Wy. Patsy is also survived by  Twenty Five Grandchildren,  Sixty two Great Grandchildren, and three Great Great Grandchildren, one sister, Sharron, and many nieces and nephews.   Patsy was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Wyona, and three brothers Bish, Bud, Jimmy.

Funeral services will be held Monday March 12, 2012 at 11:00 Am at the American Legion Hall in Ft. Bridger, Wy. There will be a viewing Sunday evening from 6 pm to 8 pm at Crandall Funeral Home in Evanston, and one hour prior to the services at Legion Hall. Interment will be in the Lyman City Cemetery.
