Merrill Clair "JR" Bowman October 28, 1962-June 29, 2012
JR Bowman was born in San Jose, Ca to Merrill Dean "BO" and Shirley S. Mulliner Bowman. He had two sisters
Helen M. (Bill) Beggs and Gerildine M.(Paul) Bowman Gomez. He grew up and went to School in Milpitas, Ca.
He loved to play baseball for Milpitas North Little League, hunting, fishing and helping out at his father's Shell Stations.
He moved with his parents to Salt Lake City, Utah to finish High School. He married Brenda Kidd (Lamb) and moved with
his parents to Evanston, Wyo to managed The Jolly Rogers Restaurant. They had Tashia L. Bowman and Christopher T.(Justine) Bowman.
They divorced and he met his true soul mate Melissa K. Garmon who shared his love of Football and family.
They married on Nov 4, 1995 and had Shelbey K. Bowman and Troyanna R. Bowman. JR lived for his wife, family and working on his trucking company
which he sold to work for several different Oil Refineries driving tankers. In May '09 he suffered two major heart attacks and had to retire.
On June 29, 2012 while on Vacation visiting Melissa's family in Texas and Oklahoma he suffered a blood clot to his heart and returned to his heavenly father.
He will be loved and missed by forever by his surviving family leaving behind the love of his life Melissa, kids, Tashia, Chris, Shelbey, and Troyanna, six Grandchildren, Devlin, Kelly, Ethan, Kadence, Elijah and Jonah. His sister, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-laws, Father-in-law Troy(Clarissa) Garmon,Grandma Minnie Hodde, many Nieces and Nephews, Aunts, Uncles, cousins and many dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his Parents Bo and Shirley Bowman, Sister Helen, Granddaughter Fiona Bowman, Martha Garmon,(mother-in-law), Grandparents Bill and Lavina Tait, Clair and Minerva Symes.
Funeral Services will be Friday July 6, 2012 at 11:00AM at Crandall's Funeral Home 800 Uinta St. Evanston, Wyo. Friends and Family may call from 6:00-8:00PM Thursday July 5, 2012
and from 9:30-10:30Am prior to services. Graveside service at Evanston Cemetery following services. Condolences may be left at shelby42@hotmail.com
