Lila Arlea Robbins Lee Pierce finished her long walk home on November 13, 2023, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born July 26, 1931, to James W. Robbins and Jennie Carpenter in Almy Wyoming. She was raised in Bitter Creek and Carter Wyoming, where she met and married her first husband Edison Lee of 25 years. They raised their family in Evanston and had 3 wonderful children Gale, Kenny, and Cindy. She later married Ralph Pierce who brought to their family seven daughters. Where they made their happy life together in Evanston.
Ralph and Arlea loved to take rides to go to the homestead, to picnic and gather wood. But nothing compared to the love she had for all her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Arlea had many jobs working at Cornets in the summer and lunchroom server for Clark School, a Telephone Operator. But she found her true calling working at the Evanston Hospital. She eventually retired after 27 years while she continued selling Avon.
Besides working she loved reading, working in her flower bed, canning fruit with Ralph, but caring for her family was her favorite pastime.
She is survived by her sister Carol Davis, her children Ken (Cleone) Lee, Cindy (Kris) Albert. Her 7 grandchildren Cherisa, Crystal, Tiffany, Eric, Jennie, Breann, and Kelby. Her 30 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren and still growing.
If you knew her you know that the world lost and amazing wife, mother, grandmother, friend and the infectious smile that could light up any room.
She is met in heaven by her loving son Gale Lee, her parents James Robbins and Jennie Carpenter, her brothers James Boan, Joe Boan, and Lester Robbins. her sisters Edna Boan and Rhoda Boan. Her husband’s Edison Lee and Ralph Pierce.
