Larry Wisenbaker

Larry Lee Wisenbaker, age 66, passed away on February 24, 2011 at Rocky Mountain Care in Evanston, Wyoming.


Larry was born on July 9, 1944, in Escondido, California, the son of Lawrence Abe and Dorothy Margaret (Nielson) Wisenbaker.


He married Jeanine Marie Williams on June 19, 1964 in Cody, Wyoming at the Cody Nazarene Church.


He was a member of the Nazarene Church. He served as the Mayor of Lyman, Wy. in the early 1980's. He loved to go fishing, and hunting. Larry worked for the United States Post Office for thirty two years, and was postmaster in Lyman, WY. when he retired in 1999.


He is survived by his wife, Jeanine M. Wisenbaker, of Evanston, Wy.; Sons, Larry Lee Wisenbaker Jr., of Evanston, Wy.; Jamie Dean (Shellee) Wisenbaker, of Washugal, WA.; Jeffery Lynn (Patsy) Wisenbaker, of Minot, N.D.; and Jeremy Ryan (Tara) Wisenbaker, of Evanston, WY. He is survived by a daughter, Jennifer Dawn (Dallas) Beus, of Mt. Home, ID. Larry is also survived by twenty three grandchildren, and one great grandchild. He is also survived by a brother, John Wisenbaker, of Garden City, KS.; and sisters, Maryann Baker, of Garden City, KS.; Joy Goe, of Nampa, ID.; Patricia Bruun, of Victor, MT.; Dawn Wisenbaker Shadwick, of Nampa, ID.


Larry is preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Dorothy, and a brother, Dennis.


Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, February 28, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. At Crandall Funeral Home in Evanston, Wy. Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 27, 2011 from 6:00 P.M. Until 8:00 P.M. At Crandall Funeral Home. Interment with military honors will follow services at the Evanston Cemetery.
