Jody Burgener

Jody Don Burgener, age 32, passed away May 30, 2012.  Jody was born on February 14, 1980 in Heber City, Utah.  He graduated from Lyman High School in 1998 and went on to attend UTI in Arizona where he certififed  as an ASI certified mechanic.  Jody began his employment with Evanston Motor as a Service Manager and later was hired by Solvay Chemical, where he was currently employed as an Underground Main Shop Mechanic.

Jody married Halee Walker in March of 2003 and they had a daughter, Braxton Jane Burgener, in 2006.  Braxton was the light of Jody’s life.  Jody and Halee were later divorced.

Jody loved spending time with his family and he loved the outdoors, hunting, camping, riding four wheelers and his motorcycle.  He loved going to concerts with his buddy, Dave Bahls.

Jody is survived by his daughter, Braxton, loved companion, Dana and her four children, Bailey, Bella, Beau, and Madelyne;   his parents, Don and Cathy Burgener; a sister, Marti Ann (Jared)  Williams; a niece, Aspen Fraughton, and nephews, Bodey Fraughton and Kash Williams; and grandparents, Marty and Judy Muir and Ted and Betty Burgener.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 1, 2012 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and also one hour prior to services at the Lyman L.D.S. Chapel.  Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, June 2, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at the Lyman L.D.S. Chapel.  Interment will be at the Lyman Cemetery.
