Hal Bemis

Hal Odes Bemis, loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, passed away at his home in Kamas, Utah on July 11, 2012.  Hal was born September 5th, 1929 to Verda J. Bemis Watson and David Odes Bemis.  Hal and Beverly were married on August 12, 1989 and later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple.

Hal loved the outdoors, camping, fishing, nature, all animals and his dogs.  Hal loved to tease his grandkids and joke with everyone he came in contact with.  Hal loved to work with the scouting program.  Hal was a hard worker and loved working at Mtn. States Plumbing for many years.

Hal is survived by his wife, Beverly Holt Bemis of 23 years, sister Eunice B. Hydeman and children Linda Andersson, Lori Bemis (Leslie), 3 step children Jeanette Thomas, Vanita Osborn, and Monica Hernandez (Juan), and 14 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be on Monday, July 16, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the Kamas LDS Ward Chapel.  Friends may call at the church on Sunday evening from 6 to 8 pm and on Monday one hour prior to the service.

Interment will be in the Marion Cemetery under the direction of Crandall Funeral Home, Kamas.
