Gabriel Gerrard

Our sweet, angelic son, brother, father, and friend, Gabriel Ashlin Gerrard, passed from this physical existence into the world of Spirit met by his brother and eternal ally, Jim Bob, on September 7, 2022, due to a cardiac event.

Gabe, also known as “Goob” to his brothers during childhood, was born March 31, 1978 to Beverly Nelle Taggart and Vern Allen Gerrard, just minutes short of being an April Fool’s child. He was as kind and sweet a soul that you could meet for all of his life. Though faced with many challenges, he kept putting one foot in front of the other, always had a smile, and would help wherever needed. He often brought smiles to our faces, mentioning the family’s favorite movie references from the 80’s like “Right turn, Clyde,” or “That ain't no lie.” He also did a superb Donald Duck impression.

Gabe’s life was shared with three brothers and one sister; Chris (Tara) Gerrard, Geoffrey “Jim Bob” Gerrard, Jacob Marquez, and Pearl Marquez.

He is also survived by his daughter Ashlyn (Kaleb) Earley, son Luke Gerrard, and grandson, Elijah Earley.

A private family memorial will be held.
