Duane Carlile Smith, 79, passed away on Sunday, October 21, 2012 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was born on November 27, 1932 in Heber City, Utah. He married his wife Joan on October 24, 1957.
He is survived by his loving wife, Joan and children, Deanne Braun, Linda Tripp; Doug (Stephanie) Smith and Karen (Tim) Bristow. Sisters, VaLois Rasband and Debra (Stan) Atkinson. Also 16 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be on Thursday, October 25, 2012, at 12 noon in the Heber Fourth Ward Building, 600 South and 715 East. Friends may call at the church on Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Thursday from 10:30 to 11:45.
Interment with military honors will be in the Midway Cemetery following the service under the direction of Crandall Funeral Home, Kamas.
