Coy Owen

Coy passed away on February 14, 2022. In Evanston, Wyoming surrounded by his family.  He was born on March 8, 1946, in Union County, Kentucky.  He was the 11th child of 16 children born to David and Clara.  He served in the Navy from 1967 until 1973. He moved his family from Kentucky to Wyoming in 1979 and this is where we made our home.

He is preceded in death by both his parents and several brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his wife Dorothy Owen, his daughters Tamara (Randy) Gross, Shawna (Cory) Dutra, Stephanie Dubois, and a son Chris Owen. His sisters Glenna Ruth, Welda Jean, Arnella, and Margery and brothers Grady, Brad, and David. He had several nieces and nephews, but he always took time to talk to Dana when he would call.  He had grandchildren and great-grandchildren.   We will miss him very much.  Cremation has taken place.  We will have a Celebration of Life at a later date.
