Cindy Ellen Lott Boyd

February 27, 1957 — April 7, 2024

Wickenburg, Arizona

Cindy Ellen Lott Boyd passed away peacefully at her home in Wickenburg, Arizona on April 7, 2024, with her husband and children by her side. Cindy courageously fought cancer for 14 years, without complaint, always putting the needs of family and friends before her own. Cindy was born on February 27, 1957, in Provo, Utah to Mack Lott and Traccia Overy Lott.

She was raised in Evanston where she helped her dad in various businesses. In 1975 Cindy had her first daughter Mandy, then later, while working underground at the trona mine, met and married John Boyd and had J.J. and Bonnie Mae. They later divorced.

In 1992 she met her best friend and love of her life, Mark Robinson. They soon married and she gained two more children, Amy and Jeff Robinson.

Cindy worked hard and did whatever it took to make ends meet. She began working at a very young age, as her dad owned Freeman’s Cafe and other businesses, including Old West Used Cars and Lotty’s. After her father’s retirement Cindy and brother Rob bought Old West Used Cars and she enjoyed the partnership until Rob’s passing. Then for many years Cindy was the face of Uinta Recycling. On her off time she enjoyed coffee and cigarettes with friends and family. Cindy loved doing crafts and quilting. She loved the sound of laughter, and all who knew her loved her laugh.

Cindy was preceded in death by her parents Mack and Tracy; brothers Rob Lott and Craig Lott; grandparents; aunts and uncles; several cousins; and son-in-law Frankie Evans.

She leaves behind a loving family including her husband, Mark Robinson; daughter Mandy Nichols (Bill Clayton); son John Jay “J.J.” (Nicole Ezell); daughter Bonnie Mae McCoy (Adam Betts); daughter Amy Robinson Evans; son Jeff Robinson; brother Rick (Brenda) Lott; and sister Benjie (Ron) Butikofer.

Grandchildren: Robert (Angela) Nichols, Lyric Nichols (Sebastien Nailen), Davis Robinson, Justyce McCoy, Jaylee McCoy, Destiny Betts, Ryan Betts, and Annsley Betts.

Great grandchildren: Soren and Aodhan Nailen, Huntleigh Blair and Benjamin Nichols.

A celebration of life with luncheon will be held on April 20, 2024, at 11 a.m. at the Machine Shop in Evanston at 1440 Main St.

Graveside services will then be held at Evanston City Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations to Uinta Recycling will be appreciated.
