Charles Lyn “Charlie” Cannon passed away December 15, 2022 at his residence in Weber Canyon, near Oakley, Utah.

He was born on December 7, 1949 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Jack and Faye (Lucky) Cannon.

He graduated from Skyline High School and attended college for a short time.

On August 22, 1969 he married Brenda Elswood in Sandy, Utah.

Charlie worked as a Fire Protection Engineer for many years.  He was a watermaster in the Hidden Lake sub-division where he lived.

Charlie loved the mountains and made his home in Weber Canyon where he enjoyed fly fishing, birds and nature.  He loved and collected antiques.

He is survived by his wife Brenda Cannon and daughter Marla Maxfield; his brother, Edmund Lucky, and his sister, Linda Tate.  He is also survived by 3 grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Camille.

Graveside service will be on Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. in the Oakley North Bench Cemetery, 5502 N 1000 W, Oakley, UT 84055.
