Carol Ball

Carol Sandra (Sandy) Ball passed away unexpectedly in Salt Lake City, Utah on Friday, November 9, 2018.  Sandy was born in Berkley, California December 26, 1952.

Sandy was blessed with her only son Hito Lee in 1970.  Sandy treasured the time they had together and after his death moved to Evanston, WY where she met the love of her life Kevin (Punky) Ball.  They shared a special love for each other and Punk helped Sandy to find joy in her life once again.  They married on March 25, 1988 and eventually made their home in Winnemucca, NV where they lived until Punk’s death in 2005.

Sandy returned to Evanston and made her home there until her passing.  Sandy loved spending time with family, having coffee with friends at Jody’s Diner.  She loved her soaps, Sponge Bob and most of all her lounge wear.  Sandy found joy in simple things, she loved chotskies and had many unique treasures in her home and yard.  Her unique spirit and laugh will be greatly missed.

She is survived by Sister  Paula (Tom) Wall, Brother Butch (Liz) Mora, sisters: Lillian Mora, JoAnn Ortiz, Theresa (John) Valdez, Tracey Mora and Sheri & Toby Mora.  Sisters in Law Kathy Ball, Chris (Larry) Lym and Jennifer Boggess, her special niece Debbie Gardea, along with many other nieces and nephews.

She was proceeded in death by her husband Kevin, Son Hito, her parents Augustine and Mary Vigil. Her birth mother Rose Mora, brother Andrew “Gordo” Mora and her niece Amber Wall.

Catholic Mass will be conducted on Wed. Nov. 14th, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Crandall Funeral Home in Evanston, WY.  A visitation will be held one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.  Burial will follow at the Evanston City Cemetery.
