Boyde James Hurdsman

Boyde James Hurdsman was born March 14th, 1952, in Evanston, Wyoming to Lawayne and Jacklyn Hurdsman. He grew up on the ranch with his five siblings: Carlene, Craig, Shane, Jalynn, and Tawana. Boyde graduated from Mountain View High School in 1970.      .

 Boyde married Kathy Hutchinson on March 24th, 1973. Together they moved to Fort Bridger and raised their three kids Jana, Bryan, and Jack. He worked at the FMC mine for 40 years where he eventually retired from. 

 Boyde enjoyed spending time with his family, always willing to lend a hand and help anyone that needed it. Boyde was an extremely kind and compassionate person who always knew how to make the people around him laugh. He loved to hunt and work on machinery. 

 Boyde died at the age of 72, on April 17th, 2024. He is survived by his Wife Kathy Hurdsman, and three Children: Jana, Bryan, and Jack (Janett) Hurdsman. Siblings; Craig Hurdsman, Shane Hurdsman, and Jalynn Telford, Grand Children; Tina Chapel, Donald Long, Rusty Long, Boann Long, Elizabeth Sickler, Audrey Hurdsman, and Hadlee Hurdsman, and his seven great grandchildren. 

 He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawayne, and Jacklyn Hurdsman; Sisters; Tawana Hurdsman, Carlene Walker. 

 Funeral Services will be 11:00 am Wednesday, April 24, 2024, in the Mountain View LDS Chapel. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at the church and again Wednesday morning from 9:30 am – 10:45 am. Interment will follow in the Fort Bridger Cemetery.
