Billy Sanders

October 24, 1939 — October 19, 2012

Billy Ray Sanders, Sr., beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on October 19, 2012.  He was doing what he loved most, hunting bull elk.  He always had a great love for hunting, fishing, and anything to do with the great outdoors.  He would share his passion with anyone who wanted to go along.  Billy worked for Haliburton for over 35 years.
Billy is survived by his loving wife, Susan Sanders, whom he married on November 23, 1996 in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.  He is also survived by his sons, Billy Ray (Sherry) Sanders, Jr. of Odessa, Texas, Brandon (Jaime) Jones, of Salt Lake City, UT.; Scott (Cherlynn) Jones, of Logan, UT.; and Justin (Aubree) Jones, of Salt Lake City, UT.; and his daughters, Brenda (Mike) Conner, of Big Springs, TX.; and Danielle (Dustin) Green, of Salt Lake City, UT.  He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
Billy is also survived by a brother, Kenneth (Evelyn) Sanders, of Las Vegas, NV.; and a sister, Wonda Sanders, of Las Vegas, NV.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service to celebrate his life will be conducted on Saturday, October 27, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. at the Evanston 1st Ward Chapel, 201 Sage Street, Evanston, WY.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, or to the Lincoln County Search and Rescue.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Crandall Funeral Home of Evanston, WY.
