Bill Crittenden

November 12, 1955 — July 29, 2019

Bill Crittenden, 63, passed away July 29, 2019 at his home in Francis.  He was born on November 12, 1955 in Heber City, Utah to Ralph Harris and Marvel Crittenden.

Bill graduated from South Summit High in 1974

He loved rodeo and was a Stock Contractor for the Rocky Mountain Rodeo Association for many years before founding the Cowboys Rodeo Commission.  He had several award winning bucking horses and bulls.  He had a great heart and was always producing rodeos for many benefits.  He was talented in all aspects of Rodeo and could fill in any position when needed.  He was an auctioneer for the Spanish Fork Livestock Auctions and enjoyed auctioneering for community fund raisers.  Bill was the quintessential cowboy.   Above all, he loved his grandchildren and spending time with family.

He is survived by his two children and their families, Misty and Darrell Shawcroft of Lehi, and their children, Ellie, Abbie, Zach, and Tyler; and Tim and Mandy Crittenden of Francis and their children, Riggin Bill, Carter, Timmy, and Korbin.  Also survived by his brother, Mike (Ruth) Crittenden of Francis and his sisters, Dixie Johnson, of Sandy and SueAnn (Brad) Dickson of Vernal.

He is preceded in death by his parents.
