Belinda Diane Arnold Reiten, “Gammy”, passed away November 15, 2022 at the University of Utah.
Belinda was born on June 8, 1951 in La Mesa, CA to Gene Arnold and Mary Agnes Lewis Arnold. She grew up in Harbison Canyon and in 1969 she graduated from El Capitan High School in Lakeside, CA. She started working as an accounting clerk in 1970.
She met the love of her life, Richard Reiten and they married on April 16, 1971 in San Diego, CA. Three years later they started a family, Matt, Becky and Jenny. In 1982 they moved from Redding, CA to Bridger Valley where they raised their three children.
In 2004, she moved back to Redding for the nice weather and to be with her daughters and grandchildren. She retired in 2007 and lived independently then moved back to Bridger Valley in 2021 to be with her son.
She loved being with family and friends, gardening, yard selling, thrift stores and calling a spade a spade.
She is survived by her loving children, son Matt (Jamie) Reiten of Lyman, daughters Rebecca (Charles) Hoffman of Belgrade, Montana and Jennifer Reiten of Cottonwood, CA.; sister Connie (Polo) Vega of Peoria, AZ; grandchildren Kalob, Kylia, Jaeden, Addison, Logan, Emma; two great grandchildren and several nieces.
She was preceded in death by her husband Richard, her parents and her brother Blaine.
She will be missed by all her babies, family and friends.
A celebration of life and funeral will be conducted at a later date at the Alpine Cemetery in Alpine, California.
