Barbara Thomas

Barbara passed away peacefully at home on August 23, 2012.  Barbara was born on December 14, 1943 to Irvan H. Butler and Virginia H. Farrar in Sheridan, Montana and raised in Blackfoot, Idaho.  She moved to Ft. Bridger in 1977 and retired from FMC in 2008.

She loved traveling, fishing, camping, and riding her 4 wheeler and horse.  She loved her yard and spending time with her family and friends. We Love you and miss you deeply.

Barbara is survived by her husband Reed Thomas, 2 daughters, Kymberly Martin (Todd Beckstead) of Lyman, WY; Cindy (Scott) Colvin of Rock Springs, WY.  3 step children, Bryon (Cory) Thomas of McKinnon, WY; Burke (Rachel) Thomas of Layton, UT; Brandie Thomas of Layton, UT.  3 Brothers; Thomas Monsseret of Blackfoot, ID; Irvan H. (Debbie) Butler Jr. of Williston, ND.  2 Sisters; Betty Jo (Ronald) Atwood of Arizona; Roxanne (Alvin) Simmons of Sandy, UT.  16 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, mother, and 1 sister; Patricia Cook.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at 11 am in the Mountain View LDS Ward Chapel.  A viewing will be held on Monday from 6 – 8 pm at the church, as well as 1 hour prior to services on Tuesday.  Interment will follow at the Ft. Bridger Cemetery.
