Alice Eula Pogue

May 12, 1932 — August 19, 2023

Evanston

Alice Eula Pogue returned to the loving arms of her Heavenly Father on August 19, 2023, surrounded by family at her residence in Evanston.  Alice was born on May 12, 1932, in Tyler Tx. to William Nathan and Aseline Blanch (Granger) Thompson.

She enjoyed embroidering tea towels, aprons, pillowcases, and especially baby quilts for all the babies in her life.  The thing she loved most was spending time with family and friends.  She was a ray of sunshine to all who crossed her path, whether it be family and friends or random people she met while in line at the grocery store. We will all miss her smiles and words of encouragement and wisdom.

Alice is preceded in death by her parents, (William N., and Aseline B.); brothers, (Berthorn, Adrian and Cuddy); sisters (Winnie, Evelyn, Estell, Inez, and Ruby); son (Grant); daughters (Lucinda, Eugena and Sandra); 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

She is survived by her children, (Ava (Keith) Larsen, Ephriam (Cindy) Gillette, Ben (Wanda) Gillette, Michael (Christine Moffett) Gillette and Winona Nancy Vigil); sister (Shirley Sazbo); 31 grandchildren, 68 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren.

A celebration of her life will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Almy Ward, 251 Elm Street, Evanston Wy. 82930. On September 9, 2023, at 10:00 AM
