Afton Kiddy Riley, 90 peacefully passed away August 16 of natural causes at her home surrounded by her family. She was born March 24, 1922 in Randolph, Utah to James and Emeline (Norris) Kiddy. She married David Sidney Riley in Randolph March 4, 1941.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, a member of VFW auxiliary, Eagles auxiliary member, and ladies canasta club member for many years. She was a Utah Jazz basketball fan and rarely missed a game on TV hanging up on anyone calling during her game. She loved Christmas and insisted on buying presents for all of her family including children, grandkids, great grandkids, and great-great grandkids.
She is survived by a son, Fred (Lucy) Riley of Whitewood, South Dakota, Daughters Midge (Larry) Loveland of Fish Haven, Idaho, Ella Mae (Marvin) Munoz, Evanston, WY, Vickie (Mike) Nelson, Kemmerer, WY, Cindy (Rick) Sather, Evanston, WY. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 59 great grandchildren, and 12 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband David, a son Duane and a daughter, Michelle.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, August 20th at 1:00pm at Crandall Funeral Home in Evanston. A viewing will be held from 11:00am – 12:45pm prior to funeral services. Interment will follow at the Evanston City Cemetery.
