I am so sorry to learn about the passing of Lori. I had the pleasure of knowing and working with Lori during my tenure with the City of Evanston. She was a founding member of the Community Garden Committee. I grieve for Wade and their family.

My sincere condolences to Lori's family at this difficult time. I first met Lori through the MS support group, got to know her a bit more through her association with Brent and Susan, as well as her work with my son. I was amazed that she was able to work in such a physically demanding job with having MS and admired her for her ability to do so. She will be missed by those who knew her and I think even those who didn't. Her contributions to help beautify our town, and make it a pleasant place to live have been appreciated and will be missed.

I am so sorry for your loss.  May the words of our loving heavenly Father bring your family comfort and strength during this most difficult time as He promises to bring our loved ones back to life in a perfect world where there will be no more suffering or death (John 5:28-29 & Revelation 21:4).

Our sincere condolences to Lori's family.  We've had the priviledge of being Lori's neighbor in Evanston for the past few years.  We visited frequently and got to know her not nearly well enough.  She was always sweet, always busy and we never knew she had MS.  We will miss her.

To the Family ,
I would like to express how sorry to hear of your loss. The pain of losing a loved one is a pain that seemingly never goes away. However, the pain can lessen when we think of what God has promised to do for us.
What comfort does he provide us? First of all, at 1 Cor 15:26 it says: "The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death." So God views death as an enemy and will eventually remove death.
Secondly, Jesus gave us hope when at John 11:25 he said: "I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:" So there is a chance to see our loved ones again under better conditions.
This comfort from the Bible has helped me in dealing with the loss of my father and I hope it will help your family to some degree with your loss.

I had the pleasure of helping Lori find her home on 6th St and became friends during our search .I think it was the fridge that sold her 6ht St house! She was a very kind and considerate person that will truly be missed by her friends and colleagues at the Parks & Rec District.  May God bless your Soul in Heaven with lots of trees, plants and flowers to entertain you with .

I was saddened by the news of Lori's passing. During my time as Director of the Evanston Parks and Recreation District I knew Lori as a dedicated employee with a passion for preserving and improving Evanston's community forest and city landscape areas. Lori had a kind and gentle personality that will be missed by all that knew her. Knowing that she fulfilled her journey on this earth with determination to always do her best, my prayers are with her family and friends at this difficult time.
