Lori Ann Jacobsen, 58 years, returned to her Heavenly Father Monday, April 10, 2017 at her residence in Evanston after a valiant battle with Breast Cancer.
She was born in Evanston to Edwin Jacob and Jeanette Gene Kiddy Jacobsen on October 5, 1958 and was a CNA for the Wyoming State Hospital. Lori’s greatest joy in life was spending time with her grandson Bradyen delighting in their love for Chocolate. Lori’s biggest passion was caring for others and those less fortunate than herself. She was preceded in death by her father, mother, and a brother, Albert Werner.
Lori is survived by her daughter, Marina Sorenson; two brothers, Frank Spero and Tom Jacobsen; four sisters, Teddie Sterling, Jeannie Cornia, Joannie Cornia, and Anita Makinen; and a grandson, Bradyen Sorenson.
There will be a celebration of life Thursday April 13, 2017 at the Depot Square in Evanston from 2:00 to 4:00 PM.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Cowboy Cares for their tender compassionate service.

Please accept my sincere condolences during this time of grief. My hope is that the words of Christ Jesus be of comfort, when he stated that "the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out" (John 5: 28, 29). We can also take comfort in God's personal promise to "wipe out every tear" and that soon, even "death will be no more" (Revelation 21: 4).

I am so very sorry for your loss. Lori was such an amazing woman. She always brought light to those she worked with at the hospital. Many clients stated that Lori listened to them, she always made them feel important. My prayers and love are with you all in this time.
