Michael D. Satterthwaite was born September 8, 1966 as a twin to Mark Satterthwaite, in Salt Lake City, Utah.  Both twins were adopted shortly after by Vaughn and Gail Satterthwaite.  Mike grew up in the Narrows Valley on the Nick Sims ranch.  He enjoyed exploring the valley, fishing, hunting and working on the ranch as a young man.  Mike graduated from Evanston High School in May of 1985.  He later went to work for numerous companys, the last of which was the Union Pacific Railroad.
Mike met the love of his life Gaylee Kemp in 1990.  They were married in Evanston, Wyoming on June 26, 1993.  Mike and Gaylee made an exceptional team remodeling and flipping several home in the Evanston Wyoming area.  The last of which they did together was the Beckwith home.  Aschel Collins Beckwith was one of the town’s original founders.  Mike’s favorite room was the old crematorium that he named his “Man Cave”.
Mike had many accomplishments in his life, from flipping houses to being one of the most like and respected employees of the Union Pacific Railroad.  He unfortunately passed away in the morning hours of August 4, 2017.
He is survived by wife Gaylee D. Satterthwaite, father Vaughn Satterthwaite, mother Gail Satterthwaite, sister Sherry (Mike) Johnson and brother Mark (Cortney) Satterthwaite.
He will be greatly missed by all.  God bless him in heaven.  In lieu of flowers donations to offset funeral expenses would be appreciated.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Crandall Funeral Home in Evanston, Wyoming.  A viewing will be held Tuesday, August 8, 2017 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Crandall Funeral Home.  A graveside service will follow directly after the funeral at the Evanston City Cemetery.

Mike was a classmate of mine and also a fellow identical twin. I'm thinking of his entire family, but his brother Mark in particular.
